linux brings so many fun side quests like how my mouse controller stopped recognizing left click just now for no reason at all
it's a win when you can get it sorted without rebooting 🙌

Linux with #Gemini window open is a rabbit hole of last resort ..

The things you can do in #vim with AI ...
Do you interact with your AI in vim? I have not moved beyond the browser chatbot. I'm curious to try goose in the terminal.
No .. I just ask complex commands from regular web chatbots .. like insert one extra line after every "} " .. but two lines after ")" .. complex substitution in long files ..
AI makes the commands fast .. once you use them once in vim .. now they are stored in history .. so q: gets you in all your historic commands and allow you edit them for future .. it makes vim history so much more useful
Yes .. I am also planning to check out goose ..
Ah cool! I do multiline editing in sublime text. Mostly just lining up spacing and deleting all the + or - signs from a code diff. I haven't had a need to do more complex substitutions like you do. It sounds like you got a good system.
I never used sublime .. but the thing with vim is it is basically a spreadsheet .. of character .. rows of characters and columns ( including white spaces ) .. so you can target pretty much every thing on canvas ... Imagination is the limit :-)
Constant battle against yak shaving.
Use linux they said, it's so much better than windows they said
nix
You mean nixOS? I haven't played with it yet. Why is it better than vanilla linux like ubuntu?
Get experience setting up environments so that you spend less time on side quests and more on canon 👀
