I like scrolling feeds on primal and using the advanced search. If I could actually reply to threads then I wouldn’t use primal anymore 😂

I wish you could try the custom feeds on Nostur. Less advance search but super efficient and they can be edited as you go
Editing would be killer. Notedeck may put it out of business for me though

I also use my own wallet so I dislike how that big zap button is useless
I should try out Yakihonne. I barely tried it but heard really good things about it. It has its own wallet but you can connect nwc and it uses the wallet interface, instead of having a big useless button like in Primal
I'll have to give that a shot, the website felt pretty slow when I used it but it's been a while
They have an app on testflight. Maybe there’s an app available on obtainium or zap.store (or zap.lol I always forget)

I just hate the feed. Nothing annoys me more than scrolling down my feed and seeing the same post 6 times in a row because everyone feels like reposting it.

Haven’t tried Freerse in a while. It’s pretty good. It has long form and short form built-in to the post menu. It has a gif button. The dev is pretty cool. Very open to making changes
I am switching to android soon. Maybe amethyst will be better than damus and primal. Just have to get used to reading notes

I used Amethyst for a few weeks on a pixel 7a. It’s really feature rich. But I still prefer Damus. Anyways you’ll see for yourself

Yes, android didn't command enough price premium to put good hardware in tablets and they are just now getting decent. Different for phones 😁
Never tried the flagship android phones. I tried one that was as old (~3 years) as my iphone and there was a huge difference
Yeah, definitely gotta spend flagship money to get a comparable performance. I’ve owned OnePlus, pixel, Samsung… OnePlus was my favorite and ran faster than anything I’ve ever used. Pixel has the best camera but can be about the same speed as iPhone. Samsung felt bloated.

Makes sense, ironically 5 was better than …6/7 because that was when google started their own silicon for the first time and they were slow and tended to over heat… 9 is better, I imagine 10 will be on exactly on par

16e (new se) looks pretty good. A18 chip and 26hours battery life is great. I would have thought it would have been less expensive than what it is ( I would have thought 100$ less, like the other times se came out). I think I’ll upgrade to it soon.
The screen will also be an upgrade. Slightly bigger than my 13. I think for you the size is roughly the same ?
Yeah I think it’s similar dimensions although I would be okay with smaller form. Mostly want the chip and battery upgrade. The glass on back is shattered to hell too so they will be nice 😆

Ipad os full macosis a smart way to go. It would cannibalize the macbook sales a bit but it would be great for the consumer. Already with the keyboard and usb-c its getting there
