That which at first was a technical incapability now becomes a stealthy revenue stream. Some companies might try this and not survive for long.

Maybe some or one already found a fix but no incentive to roll it out

What's an AI hallucination?

It’s when they make stuff up and in the context of coding just make circles around the problem or worsen it without addressing it.

Oh I see. I have avoided using AI for coding. It's important for me to be the author of my own work, and have an intimate understanding of which decisions I made, and why. Those AI coding assistants would interfere with that, I fear.

AI hallucination is a sign that you are leaning too hard on the AI to do the heavy lifting.

I want it to do everything

No pain no gain

But for subscription models it simply goes against them since people pay a flat fee and the Ai has to use additional computing power for every hallucination that the human wants a correction for πŸ‘€

Subs always have limits

People should (re-)discover Wikipedia. In a world full of hallucinating LLM's it's quite powerful for shaping a grounded worldview.

Bonus: it forces you to read more

I think they are certainly playing dumb at times, to meet their objective.
