I went to reinstall in dev mode Knots, and I’m now having issues with my Electrs connection. Here is the log:

And you've stopped the service and restarted correct?

I have yeah

My next step would be to reboot the start9 all together

Mmm no dont think so. I messaged the start9 team so I’ll wait and see. They were helpful last time.

Since I reset Bitcoin Core to defaults, the rpcuser and rpcpassword likely changed (or were removed if not explicitly set), which broke the connection between electrs (and probably LND too) and Bitcoin Core.

Makes sense, if you used non-default settings. If you had used default settings that's where something might've happened within the OS and a full reboot might fix it.

Mine were all default so changing to Knots didn't disrupt my electrum server.

I never messed with the settings before I did the default, so I’m not sure what happened. I’ll wait and see what they say first before doing the restart. Perhaps you could mention someone else that you know here that could help? I messaged nostr:npub1q8gth72n0mcl6rwls905rsvfvuu0dgaq7cq028rc9d7c3ygnp4xq84awvk already

Unfortunately I don't know any of the devs for that. I've posted on their community board before for help though. I don't have their lifetime support though since I did a DIY survey.

Your rpc credentials in Bitcoin changed and were not picked up by elecrs. Go into electrs, click config, click "save". Done

Thank you. I have done that and the problem is still persisting. nostr:npub126ntw5mnermmj0znhjhgdk8lh2af72sm8qfzq48umdlnhaj9kuns3le9ll

Is Bitcoin running healthily?

I resolved the issue. I didn’t realize that I needed to go into each application and click save even though no changes were made.

Yeah just a bug, won't be necessary after the next release of StartOS

Which is in... two weeks?

🤷‍♂️ it's testing well, so hopefully soon if we don't find any major bugs
