Why do you think so? I agree on proof of work and fees being the ultimate filters, but I don't understand his example on the arbitrary data spam, see my comment here -> nostr:nevent1qqs8s9jsgya2p06nnvuj5fjmz0cyd95kuwwg5afn854mne6c2dp7acczyq2lwr4axrmfhpdm4p7ra3zkg5cqms5rtfk6cg6lm7q58j44ay5zcqcyqqqqqqgy8pp5z
The fog of war is steadily lifting
A lie is halfway round the world before the truth has got its boots on
I think Calle is winning this, slowly but surely

Not sure mate, not savvy enough
As long as you agree they’re the ultimate filter then it’s up to you if you want to filter
You’re better to just include everything that is mined so you have a more accurate mempool
Maybe that’s missing the mark so lmk
Fees and proof of work are undeniable, I just the feeling that the stance core is taking with respect to spam if a bit too weak, see my other comment on the same post for more details
IMO
Core are - filter spam with mining maximalists
It’s imperfect, like anything, but it’s probably the best way to go instead of constantly coming up with Captchas etc.
I really don’t have much to add as I’m not that savvy but I no longer worry about this debate any more
