The proof in the pudding is if you give adults who are considered poor readers and adults who are considered dyslexic, an intensive reading programme, they both come out with the same level of improvement
Other evidence is people involved in diagnosing it don’t have a concrete definition of it and get into a credentialist hissy fit when you question any of it
In addition to all this, educational programs are designed to have obedient people, hopefully incapable of thinking for themselves.
