#AI is going to displace 50% of men and 75% of women in the workforce at breakneck speed.

Any thoughts on how that takes place? Particular industries/types of jobs?

1. Energetic, intelligent types begin leveraging AI tools, attracting the attention of management.

2. About half of men don't, and most women don't.

3. Companies reward the AI-enabled, leaving legacy workers behind.

4. Companies downsize, eliminating non-AI capable workers entirely.

5. Eventually, down the line, companies will be started by the extremely AI capable, which will displace companies with a hybrid approach.

The first to go, and good riddance, is the administrative class of every industry. Healthcare and education is particularly ripe for an AI culling.

Yeah 100% agree there

I don't think people realize what % of the entire western workforce these people make up.

Probably 30-60%. Mostly women.

Cutting these jobs alone will restore the desirability of the traditional family.

#AI is great.

Agreed on the family aspect.

I have been thinking of how AI can be used in industries with lots of confidential information. Not exactly secure to use a chatGPT or similar provider

Interesting, thanks for the perspective!

AI replaces workers, but what do you do with those workers? UBI can’t work because scarcity and incentives exist. Deflation can’t be allowed to take hold to offer relief unless/until fractional/zero reserve money is made obsolete by Bitcoin. Governments will play along as long as they can get rich off “digital assets” but when people stop demanding tether and only want Bitcoin, what do they do then? Our best hope is that by then they have a large enough stack that they too are incentivized to protect the decentralization and security of Bitcoin.

This 4th turning has some big thematic changes coming and 99% of the world is sleeping on it.

Btw: Happy Morher’s Day, call your mom and make your wife breakfast.

I don't think customer service is at risk at the moment.

Admins and other busywork.

I think long term women will have the upper hand in the workforce. In the short term men might dominate because they will use the AI tools. But then we will have AI using the AI tools and mainly manual labour left. There will be huge demand for worker ants. But that won't last long because AI will find ways to automate those jobs. The only thing I don't see AI doing is building relationships and caring for people. Yes AI can do stuff for you, but there is a difference if a human is sacrificing time and attention for you. And women are a lot better at building relationships and caring for people.

Some counterpoints to think about:

- AI will accelerate robotics development, which will likely chew into labor and trades.

- AI already being used to replace a lot of healthcare: the primary care model is most at risk and that is the interface into everything else, so it's very disruptive to encumbants.

- Modern women aren't very caring but AI will probably force them to effectively remember how to be in order to maintain a role. More likely is women returning to traditional families to care for family members instead of strangers.

- Only the households saving in #Bitcoin today are prepared to weather this transition.

You don’t really like women do you?
