I was thinking the other day.

We are absolutely not ready for Corporate #Bitcoin.

A very simple example, payroll time comes, who clicks what to send bitcoin to who? Is it on chain? Is it over lightning? So many questions need answers.

Who is working on this tech?

Prisms

Just off the dome lightning or chaumian mint because delays in payday would cause riots.

Lightning Option: But instead of a direct deposit account number you give them a bitcoin address to send to. Payroll is setup as an address with a prism based on set percentages.

Ecash option: every business has its own mint and employees are paid from then peg out.

I have also had this thought in the recentish past. I think the tech is there but I don't think we are ready fit pay negotiations in the context of bitcoin. How are we valuing time and will the amount of SATs pet pay period differ based on fiat to btc exchange rate?

No I understand the tech can support it.

Corporate need actual systems. Software to run these things. And I never heard about any company developing such need.

Something like QuickBooks for bitcoin?

Maybe. Though I’m not sure Quickbooks handles payroll, I think it’s more accounting.

Maybe More like Paylocity or Paycom and the likes.

Direct deposit into strike 😁

Keep it simple: Print a paper wallet, put in an envelope, just like the good old days of actual paychecks.

Imagine taking a leap into digital money only to send paycheck as… paychecks 🤣

As long as bitcoin is treated, and taxed, as property it will not become mainstream currency. Eventually it may become currency but that time is far into the future.

Agreed. It could be too early still.
