Yeah for sure. I would go ahead and cast a wide net of people. Better to have a lot of content early, and then whittle down if you have people or content you don't like. It's better for discovery than trudging through the chaos that is the global feed, lol.
Honestly just scroll through my follow list and see what you like. Or you could literally copy my npub and "log in" from my view and you will see my feed and follows just as I see them. Then you could explore my feed and see what you like or don't, and follow as desired. That's a really cool thing about #nostr many dont know. you can basically see through the "window" of what any user's experience is by pasting their npub into the client in a "watch only" mode basically. It's a cool way to play/explore
