Quit Twitter again.

Let's see how long I last.

It always goes the same way:

- I want quick news

- I go back there

- I get compulsive

- I quit and feel better

- I want quick news

- I go back there

It's obvious I need to disconnect from "news". Suppose I can trace that "need" back to procrastination. It's always much easier to use Nostr in a way that doesn't take over my life too much.

Since going full time nostr I feel like my mental health has greatly improved

There's always something new popping up. Some controversy, bitcoin, shitcoin or otherwise. Hard not to get sucked in and waste a lot of time for no actual benefit.

I've know this for a long time, but I keep slipping up 🙈

Yeah I find myself going over there occasionally just to see what the current thing is.

Don't fight the feeling. Notice you're not in control of your own actions. Notice you are a slave to your own impulses. Don't fight it, sit in it, embrace it. You procrastinate because you are avoiding a deep truth. You enjoy wasting your life on news and other people's lives so you don't have to face...? Heal. Then you'll sepearte yourself from the corporeal impulses. Twitter isn't the issue. It's your mental illness.

"So you don't have to face...?"

This is when I reached to zap you, but you haven't set it up 😊

Not with this alt. Pay me back by purging all the "?" In your life.

Dont be a pussy and leave it once for all…

Tough love, but perhaps this is needed.

Alright let the intervention begin…

You’re failing as a husband and a father and letting down The Shire!

It's all true.

It's irrational that I would abuse my limited time like that.

Remember, Elon is aware of this potent formula which feeds the news addiction. It should come with a list of side effects.

Just create the signal you want to see on nostr and leave twitter for good
