He's down in flat Alabama. I'd think he's probably fine since he doesn't have our mountains. I could be wrong.

It's a stubby 2db, should be good for solid range.

Can get a larger 3db+, or whip antenna, but just adds more bulk in our opinion.

Real increase in range is all about height and line-of-sight.

How’d you get the fancy UI installed? I used the multi-os installer but my outgoing messages disappear.

We have the official zip from Meshtastic and verified method of installing FancyUI from the official web flasher.

FancyUI definitely has some bugs as its very new, but from our experience basic messages to & from nodes or joined channels works well.

They do not save though when you turn off, then back on the device

So awesome. Meshtastic is huge in the Pacific North West. We get good range with nodes high up.
