Your Bitcoin node may say is sync but check the blocks, you may be still few hours behind, happens, Electrum will only state that is fully sync once the node catch up with the latest blocks

either my home network got hacked or Umbrel is interfering with my wiz smart bulbs. is umbrel possibly affecting my home smart devices?
WOW, that is odd.. I do not see how, but switching off the system and testing your network will shed some light on the matter.
I would assume your home smart devices are self hosted, if you are using amazon or google devices , well, they come pre hacked , it is a door open, not only for Amazon and google but to cyber criminals, thus , you can expect a security breach at any time
I rebooted umbrel and everything fine and stable now. Very weird. However I installed Tailscale on umbrel and its frozen on "starting...." can't Uninstall it or stop it :(
Did you try tailscale support? I know other people had problems as well with it hanging and not restarting.
You can SSL to UmbrelOS and stop it via command line, you can restart it or uninstall it
