awesome. that's what im doing. i mostly ragged on cashu for the last year, calling it a private and more complicated way to get rugged. i figured that i can't actually say these things unless i embed myself in the ecosystem and use it for a while as i would in real world scenarios. so far the past few days have been good. i don't notice any changes from my normal workflow and uses.

Wondering if I can just send to any npub @npubx.cash and the sats be there when a user logs in via nsec...

A step further would be able to receive and send after nsec login.
Npub.cash is just missing the send.
(Even if it's just to another npub.cash address)
login to cashu.me with your nsec/nip-07 and use cashu.me to send and recieve with your npub.cash address

Right. It's not Bitcoin. It's tokens to redeem for bitcoin. And lightning is a promise you can settle for a UTXO. But that is Bitcoin because lightning actually locks real UTXOs for payments between nodes. I digress
cashu isn't bitcoin, it's ecash for bitcoin :)
Yes. I'd agree. But its an actual bearer asset where as custodial lightning is not and is not private. Nothing beats self custody lightning. But ecash is better than custodial lightning for these reasons. There are no solutions. Only trade offs.
agree. that's what i've learned. i look at it as another option for people as some people prefer certain trade offs over others.

I'd view both of these as experimental, especially #2 as it's still a work in progress.
