I often will watch some of my favorite films, or go to my favorite places and wish that I could experience them again but for the first time. That I could go into it with total amnesia and get to enjoy all its wonder with new eyes.

Being a father basically lets you do this. You see everything from a completely different perspective and you often look at things as if you’ve never seen them before, trying to see what your child sees.
