I don't care about likes per se it's just a marker of the number of people that see my messages.
Size of my audience matters to me because if I'm going to make a difference I'd rather my efforts reach many people.
Pretty simple.
I just decided i don’t want to use a company to enable me to read/write to a database which they own and control. Where they own my identity and prey upon us all as a result.
and i don’t care about engagement. The only reason that note got the likes is cause nostr:npub1qny3tkh0acurzla8x3zy4nhrjz5zd8l9sy9jys09umwng00manysew95gx shared it.
You either see and know the problem and are actively orienting yourself in opposition or you’re supporting the enemy - and for meaningless interactions on their db they call likes of all things

Yep fair enough. I get it.
I think it’s just more about genuinely engaging with people on nostr and conversing, as there is for the most part no algo that will unnaturally feed people your notes like on corporate social spyware platforms.
So do I have to actively make my own list, and manually visit their profiles, or just be lucky to be online and see their post the moment they release it on the feed? I see about 5 to 10 people's posts over and over again, I think something is wrong. Maybe it's Iris/Amethyst combo that's bad.
Looks like you’re connected to a ton of relays so no issue there.
Id just stay active and keep contributing to the conversation
