Replying to Avatar jack

I hope someday reposts and zaps completely replace the need for “likes”/🤙🏼.

Reposts and zaps are true value exchange…and have a real cost: your reputation or money.

Likes are superficial and exist only to inform an algorithm.

Relevance algorithms have their place, but they are best informed by a truly costly action.

I think simply having the functionality is sufficient. The big thing is, it’s freedom. It’s a public square. AND, it’s a free market place. While I agree the ZAPing in support of ideas helps Bitcoin adoption, the real power lies in the combination of freedom of speech and freedom to exchange value and property.
