Kids growing up now will regard the pre-internet era as some kind of

unimaginable dark age

Not really.. if we take them to rural area, with modern facilities and time spent doing archery and other outdoor activities. The beauty of that time and age is priceless. We are bringing it back..

they will literally call everything up to our childhood the 'digital dark age'. if the species survives another thousand years, this will be the period kids learn about in school 🤘🏽

my entire childhood produced a few thousand data points, and maybe 250 photos. my nephews and nieces produce more than that every single day, and have done since the day they were born. orders of magnitude difference.

My kid is growing up now and asked me whether growing up in the 80s was as beautiful as it looks like in movies. Seems obvious to her that hanging out outside most of the time, without screens and grownups, was much better.
