One of the things that scares me is my intestines. When I did a very-low carb diet in the past, where I was taking in <25g of carbs per day, the weight loss was great, but I got diverticulitis and had to have 7in of my colon removed. That was a uniquely awful experience that I'm fully opposed to repeating, so I'm keeping that in mind as I hone in on the best option for me.

that sounds intense. I can understand that as I worry about it, my dads been in hospital recently with a twisted bowel and so its in back of my mind always too.. im also trying to start it and it is hard to find quality stuff but i watch videos on YouTube and try and stick to doctors not influenceers

been doing it for few weeks and have added in some sauerkraut and some sweet potatoes back in for bit because I experienced the opposite of what everyone says about going through a period of the runs at the start of their journey

but im coming off vegetarian diet so been huge jump for my gut. maybe I need to add way more salt than I am, I've def upped my fat intake because that's supposed to help keep things smooth

all the best with it and your goalsπŸ’ͺ
