Okayu is a rice porridge, often called "Sick Food" because it is warm, easy to digest and full of liquid.

Just looking at okayu makes me feel so warm & cosy 😁

In South India, we have similar rice porridge, but it's fermented overnight & has with raw onion & chilli (supposed to be good energy source).
