Is there some trick to making grease guns usable? I had a shitty one, thought maybe spending more might help, now I have a battery powered one (fewer hand cramps at least) & still more grease goes around the fittings than in, & getting the hose to detatch is still nearly impossible.

Why the fuck isn't there just some sort of release collar?! Are there replacement hoses that have some sort of manual release?

Milwaukee one always seemed to work for me πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

It’s a bad grease fitting. Sounds like either the grease fitting is shit or the place where the grease is being pumped into is filled.

It's a joint where grease is supposed to be pushed out so that the old dirty stuff is replaced. But maybe the fitting is bad.

Or maybe there is some pressure on the joint & I need to move the machine into a different position πŸ€” probably just needed to cool off, escape the bugs, & give it some more thought

Excellent idea. Definitely cool off & relax. That’s usually when the answers arrive. πŸ˜ŠπŸ™

Yes there are quick release fittings purchased mine at a local farmer supply (Case) for $30.

Omg, thank you! I should have searched. Idk why there weren't any front & center where I buy grease or anywhere else I have looked.

Glad it's not just me
