born too late to explore the world,

born too early to explore the universe,

but born just in time to experience #disruption.

yes we are really early to nostr

#Bitcoin and #Nostr, much like the #Internet in the early 90s, are not easily explained or understood.

Who talks TCP/IP these days?

There is more #disruptivetech, too.

The bizarre thing is that a lot of nostriches uses the TCP or SMTP example to try to explain #nostr when most people have no real idea of what is TCP or SMTP

TCP/IP OG here. This book is from 1991. I’ve seen this movie before with the internet. BTC/NOSTR/LN/ECASH feels like 1991, but for open financial networks this time around. I’m not going to miss the disruptive wave.

Oh yeah! Those were the days!

Still got the original edition on my shelf. 😎 πŸ‘¨β€πŸ¦³

Blast from the past. One of my college classes in the mid 90's used Volume I as the course textbook. Went to college in Indiana and Comer was right up the road at Purdue.

Yes! It’s interesting again

It was the First Gulf War (1991) where the internet came into true being. That war ran on the internet over tcp/ip

What programming language does this book use? C?

Just like Max Kaiser said on Nat Brunell’s show the other day. By the time the real hyperbitcoinized world is a reality, we will be the legends it was built on. And we will be dead. We stack for our last names, not our first names. πŸ€™πŸ½
