I think I might know the issue. Damus isn’t updating as well as ot used to. I have been quitting it a LOT in order to update my feed. I guess I just got used to it. Try that.
I had a similar issue with Damus buttons freezing after I’d make a zap. Will fixed it for me by telling me to turn off my wallet selector.

Mine has been crushing every 10-30 mins so quoting and restarting is “automated”. And yes, that problem was there for a while, I am also well used to it. 🐶🐾🫡🫂😂

Yeah I thought that might be the case for the current day. I’m actually more interested in why we see a big drop in notes published since about 19 April:
“Daily events published” dropped a lot around 19/4 and has stayed low.

Many people arrived on Nostr due to their love of BTC. But, BTC is much more than Nostr. People have lives outside of the protocol. Could be working on non-nostr BTC-related projects. Who knows? 🤷♂️ just gonna say it. Memes and gifs get boring quick.

Makes you realize a few things:
1. How centralized social media platforms (Twitter, Instagram etc.) use toxic advertising methods to keep you addicted to their platforms
2. Lol. Can't believe no one realizes this. You don't NEED social media! Imo, it's much more enthralling interacting with people face-to-face.

I think alot of us in these comments are steady noters. Most come and most go but glad its a revolving door and to see more actives. I think we all are doing a good job or staying consistent with protocol. Twitter is only popular because its the same content spammed 50 million times. Here i noticed we are getting diversified notes more as weeks go on.
Might be some changes in default relays or traffic shifted somewhere. Or it is really dropping.

Wow that’s a big drop off
We’re going to need more than just developer talk and bitcoin memeing. Not sure if it is better chart functionality or what but something from a content enablement angle is missing.
Also, we need some of the highly followed twitter accounts to move over here and generate their full content stack here. The challenge for those is accounts is they already have created a large following over there and are reluctant to start from scratch over here. Building slowly again the network effects they’ve already built over there.
I didn't notice until it was pointed out a bunch of relays had dropped out. Soo maybe check there. 🤷♀️🙌
