Real inflation
Reminds me of a NY Fed comment in 2011 acknowledging higher food prices but noting that inflation is offset by better value in the tech sector. Cold comfort for those who can't afford the food itself, without getting to any discretionary spending. "I can't eat an iPad" was one noted retort.
When your BTC is up 2000%, then the 50% inflation of food in USD terms actually doesn't seem that bad.
We go every few weeks.
Spent $500 last time.
Average used to be $300.
There is not much in the fridge.

What are you talking about? The government says that inflation only hit 10% at worst! Yeah, and if you buy that, I've got some oceanfront property in Arizona. I'll sell you too.
