OpenAI will be dead in a few years.
Discussion
Why?
All of the people who actually built the tech and vision behind it are leaving or have already left; Sam Altman is a grifter; Anthropic models are already much better; open-source is starting to catch up.
AI development is not as easy as it seems. You need brains in the offices had some serious metal in the 'rooms. No small players can have these.
I can somewhat agree; Anthropic is a big player and already has better models. Coupled with the fact that top execs and founders of OpenAI are leaving or have already left just spells out doom for the company in due time. Open-source models are also starting to catch up with support from Meta.
