Girlfriend is a dispatcher for a fuel company. A couple days ago one of her drivers was found passed out behind the wheel of his truck. The people who found him were concerned and called an ambulance.
The paramedics realized he was shit faced and called the police.
Dude blew a 0.30! He was that drunk driving around with 20,000 gallons of jet fuel. Scary.
Be careful on the road. You never know when some alcoholic is going to be flying down the highway driving a giant bomb.

Yup. Common. Unfortunately these kinds of jobs attract these people, or these jobs attract substance abuse. Most of our delivery drivers had something going on. CDL is usually a different market, but the hours are shitty, being away from home for long periods is hard on people and their families, and the pay is usually terrible. You eat like crap, rarely exercise, and don't see people. So many jobs like this.
I would hope not. Geez. How wrong do things have to be for it to get to that point?
