My husband and I have both moved toward the political center, from our original polar opposite ends.
I can't tell, if it's long marriage, middle aged moderation, increasing wealth, or some combination of the three.

I can say in marriage, she moderated me and I radicalized her. If it works, it works.
I think moderation comes with age and wisdom.
The question is, is moderation always a good thing?
Virtue is the mean between extremes.
Why? Jesus Christ was considered an extremist in his time, yet he was and is seen as the epitome of virtue.
Virtue is not the same as blandness. We often associate moderation with blandness, but actually moderation typically comes from rejecting the incorrect extremes while retaining principles.

it's just growing
dont forget the radical centrists, lol
I made the same question to myself a few years ago. I concluded that there are not credible group of people, parties etc to materialise more edgy solutions, so center offers a moderate harbor to settle in until something more radical happens. I mean left and right can offer some solutions if not blended with corruption.
You think we're all just parked?
Waiting for Milei?
Center is more like a parking, yes.
Milei sounds awful to me
I mean if you have find some way around and you are more to test an asian receipe for soup rather than, let's say, return to deutsche mark, then you can park in the center. Center offers moderate changes if any. But if reality demands real solutions to urgent problems, there is no center any more
I used to think I was far-right. Then I met my wife. After 15 years I realize we have something far better than conservative, ancap, libertarian or right: The Spirit of Truth
Another Kind of relationship goals 😉
I can't even tell anymore where I'm on the political spectrum. My wife acts as an anchor currently
