Eat all the sushi.

Ginza for the crack (an Irish slang for fun)

Staying nearby there methinks

Good choice

Visit Ota-ku, very nice and historical, also good views

My father died recently, he founded:

They have offices in Ota-ku, if you visit a Shinto Shrine near there, please say a prayer for him, his name was Cliff Hardcastle.

I have inherited his Daruma doll, one eye is already marked, which signifies the start of a journey or ambition. I would like to fill in the other eye to mark its end.

I can do this once a prayer has been said for him.

The family is in tow, but I’m picking up what you’re putting down

Everything is great in the city but the Fuji mountain is not too far. Definitely a must-see.

We will be headed to Osaka and Kyoto as well, taking the train past Mt. Fuji. If we were to stop to get a longer look where would you suggest?

Great choices! I visited Kawaguchiko from Tokio in the region of Five Lakes, north of Mt Fuji. Hakone is a nice place too on the way from Tokio to Osaka.
