Looking good that’s about the stage mine is at as well.

Ours are just barely starting to poke through the mulch here up north. Ground’s still been frozen until just recently

How did your cover crop amongst the strawberries experiment turn out?

It was too dry for good germination and growth unfortunately. I got an OK stand in part of my one raspberry bed. In a normal year I think it would have worked better, we had an abnormally dry fall in our area.

Does it winter kill in your climate or do you have to find a way to terminate it

The oat-pea-radish mix i used winterkills reliably.

That is the way to go. This last winter my cover crops did not die back. With our wet springs it is next to impossible to terminate them.
