Web of Trust is the quantum mechanics of verifiable credentials: it turns a classic view of a binary certificate into a probabilistic equation.

I'm so excited to see the full scope of what WoT is capable of. I feel like I'm just scratching the surface of it and I think about it all the time.

Every signature is a waveform, collapse it responsibly!

is there a given definition of WoT so far

Here's a concise stab: a set of "weightings and preferences" - that are unique to you - scoped to particular contexts about other people and topics, sourced from your own and your trusted contact's opinions and interactions.

example 1: "do all the people who's opinions I trust on 'human-ness' think a given npub is a bot?"

example: 2: "do all the people who's opinions I trust on 'best pizza' say I'll enjoy a given restaurant?"

example 3: "among the people I trust for hiring talented software developer freelancers, has anyone had good experience with freelancer Y?"

Note that for all of the above, the "answers" are unique to you. You'd expect someone else to have entirely different - even opposite - results!

WTF do you mean ?

Technobabble ?

Silicon tech keep finding new name of something that basically cryptography peer to peer

And furthermore, a function of the observer. Schrodinger would be proud.

Can we have trust entanglement?

I think so.

We each need to consciously maintain a disperate graph to prevent this.
