I loved wooden playgrounds
Some were so high and scary to climb to the top
Yeah you can’t claim up on the new ones really
Then you haven't pulled a log of a splinter out of your foot, arm, or ass.
I think my Dad performed surgery with a chainsaw a time or two.

Same here, sooo many splinters I was so glad when the wood playground was replaced. The would playgrounds also usually had those metal slides that would scortch your thighs 😖😣🥵

Take some of Mom's wax paper and slid down the slide with it on a warm day.

On the contrary, an awesome wooden playground just like that was constructed where I live (in Texas) last year. Life is good here
