If you’re using Damus, under settings/appearance/filters you can block notes marked with nsfw. For the rest, you have to mute them individually 🤷🏾

One of the Damus dev contributors was investigating opting into iOS nsfw image screening. Non-educated guess is it’s 90% ready. Final bits might be toughest.
Another approach that might help is implementing web-of-trust see mute / opt-in WOT auto-mute functionality.

Next couple weeks dev team is focused on pushing out some cool new features. After that we will revisit user experience as a whole. This includes reducing noise such as anime p*rn.
