I used to have TDS. I no longer blindly hate him or the people who like him as I was directed to for years.
Growth is a funny thing to watch in hindsight. I went from far-left to Ayn Rand within the space of just a few years because of exposure to the ideas and principles that are discussed in many Bitcoin circles.
This'll be the first election in 20+ years where I don't vote blue. Still undecided on whether I want to participate at all.
Last year is the last time I have participated in what I vote consider the slow descent into slavery (again) system. Voting signals consent to whatever happens, and I'm not cool with that anymore. Voting harder for us here. This is not where I want to be or go. Therefore, I will no longer vote.
That's where I'm torn. Participation legitimizes the system that's been constructed to keep us as docile tax slaves. But I hate a lot of the ideas and policy that come out of the left wing of the uniparty.

Its important to participate, many nation states require it or worse don’t allow it. Spoil your ballot. Tell them the choices are horrible
I disagree. I will not be part of the active polity, especially on the national level. Even if I don't vote, I'm active at a local level. I tend to voice things that others don't and I tend to become a thorn in the side of the local idiots.
And also, you can participate without voting. Voting shouldn't be the one thing you do to "participate" as a citizen.
I thought if you were waffling on voting, it would have been to much to push you to run. I appreciate your lack of care for the national level. In Canada its the one with the most power and ability to change individuals lives IMHO
I am an institutionalist i think its strength can out power the parties will. I preach the vote as a bare minimum that individuals should practice.
If your effective at the local level then you can get your needs met quicker than federally i agree.

At this point in the US, it is not possible (IMO) to effect change from within the system, at least not in a time frame that matters to stem the tide of the imminent collapse of the dollar.
I know too little about the Canadian system since I tend to not worry much about what goes on in Canada except that it's a bellwether for the next Marxist BS that's going to be pushed by the WEF proxies like Castro's bastard.

Void your ballot. Its important to participate but choose no candidates write bitcoin messages on your ballot. Make sure your voice is heard but not counted in positive in a system that has been taken under a two party system.
I voted for Obama twice. But the left lost me with the whole chicks with dicks stuff. Trump makes me laugh and Bitcoin taught me that it’s really a choice between robbers of your money and freedom and that’s why I figure I’ll pick the robber who at least makes me laugh.
I stupidly and pathetically voted for Hillary and then Biden not because I supported them but because I was voting against what was I saw to be a dangerous, narcissistic demagogue. Since then I have gone deep down the bitcoin rabbit hole and become very libertarian. I see no reason to make the same mistake in reverse. Trump is not libertarian, nor is he a good person nor will he actually “drain the swamp” or do any of the stuff that he uses to win people over. They’ll keep printing dollars and funding endless wars no matter which clown party is in power until the empire either collapses or winds down.
Also, nobody seems to care about all of the horrifyingly authoritarian suggestions he’s made over the years, such as praising the dictator of the Philippines for his policy of mass murdering drug dealers to solve the drug problem. Of course, legalizing drugs couldn’t possibly be considered, that would be asinine.
When you spend your energy on positive things that actually have results it's hard to go back to negative things that produce nothing.

Never had TDS.. voted R for the last couple elections on the federal level. Nothing really changes. Slowly realized it’s all a clown show. $35 trillion in debt and no serious discussion about it. Ya no none of these politicians are serious ppl. I’m not condoning it with my vote.

Disillusionment with lib politics started started probably in the Obama years, but I kept consuming mass media and it kept me more of less compliant.
I still don't like Trump, but the media coverage of the assassination attempt was eye opening and what I needed to really see how brainwashed I had been.
No I totally get the sympathy aspect of it. I do.
He’s still a human and this absolutely humanizes him even to the mainstream media.
HOWEVER
It was not the “media” that tried to DENY ELECTION RESULTS. That was the man, Donald Trump.
For years he has tried to normalize blatant lies.
What made you stop reacting to them? Like do you find yourself now believing false statistics and provable numbers? 
I feel like maybe there's a disconnect. Trump lies and exaggerates a lot. I'm not endorsing the man, I'm only saying that I am no longer hating him like the media pushes people to do. I am no longer looking at him and automatically dismissing everything he says, or his policy proposals.
Both left and right are wrong about most everything as far as I'm concerned, because what they disagree on is how to spend other people's money, and how best to force compliance from people who disagree with them.
