Here is a Bespoke Memetic Artwork depicting how I truly feel about the Mostr bridge to Nostr.

I am fucking sick and tired of getting raped in the eyes by illegal pornography on a daily basis. Dealing with Libtard bullshit is one thing, but 99.99% of my reports come from that fucking bridge.

Start blocking the Mostr bridge by default on Nostr clients. Keep our users safe from these sick pedo bastards.

Positive content will improve drastically instantly once you make this move. We do not need to suffer these monsters anymore.

the fediverse has a function that lets one instance block another. this splinters the network into a few neighborhoods. a big group of instances block anyone to the right of stalin, a small group of instances only block the ones that have pedophilia and zoophilia and stuff like that, and a very tiny group of instances are dedicated to unspeakable shit.

it looks like the mostr bridge, which enables communication between the fediverse and nostr, isn't really blocking all of the worst fediverse instances. I actually run a pleroma instance. when I set it up I had to come up with a blocklist so that my instance doesn't get exposed to CP and other bad things, and it ended up being maybe a couple dozen instances I had to block back then. you also have to keep up with it and make sure the list is up to date all the time which is a chore.

from what I heard, the mostr bridge isn't preventing really bad stuff from flowing in the other direction either. a lot of fediverse instances have blocked it. the bridge lacks reasonable moderation on both ends.

Yes, we don’t need that trash here. Get rid of the all the bridges. NOSTR relays only. This is one major reason I haven’t onboarded people to NOSTR

Most of the good content comes from there too, and its not as if there isn't any Nostr exclusive pedo shit already. Nostr filtering tools are kinda shit right now, but that doesn't change the fact that on Nostr the responsibility for content seen fundamentally rests on the user themselves. If anything the fediverse should be blocking US.
