Rentals are always charged on supercharges. Drains them way faster. Also rental cars are just flat out abused. I rented a Tesla once. Peice of shot.

How're, I own 2. We charge at home. More than enough battery life for everything we need with thr occasional supercharge on long trips.

I wouldn't even consider going back to a gas car for a daily driver... I would love another lifted jeep for weekends and surfing though...

I had considered that the battery wasn't well taken care of and that it would probably last longer if it was charged at home.

I'm glad you're happy with your purchase. How many miles on the cars so far?

25K on wife's model3 long range and less on my model Y. So to your point let's see where we are at 100k. But lots of people have posted well over 150k with still around 85-90% battery.
