the mempool acting like a dick got me philosophical about daily DCA strategy
been trying to adhere to an inverse sliding scale daily purchase schedule (@ around 0200 UTC) where π½ = amount of π΅.

(flat) = 2 x π½
β¬οΈ π = 4 x π½

Me neither, but I had to lay down some sort of rules because the smash buying was getting out of hand π€£
I tried it. I would smash during a dip, then two days later it would take a dive. For me, bitcoin is my buy it everday, forget about it investment. I'm sure many people have a different philosophy and make money trading it. I buy it to free up my time and mind to explore other areas.

Daily/weekly DCA a must

I accumulate for the kids and to free myself as well
I also do it for the dopamine. Itβs nice to get the confirmation email everyday π€£. Like a note from my secret lover.
Iβve been doing something similar. When we were around $16k I was DCAing 2-3x what Iβm DCAing now.
I like to think Iβm strategic with it, but really I just look at what I have and the price action and just smash buy what I can lol
I do a consistent little daily DCA, along withβ¦
- 2x if it goes up (FOMO π)
- 4x if it goes down (BTFD)
- 10-20x smash buy when I get paid, or if weβre ahead-of-schedule on bills and taxes π€
- 1x extra as reparations, if I buy something stupid like an overpriced coffee in the city
- a little more whenever a πΈ friend reminds me to β
