What no one wants to talk about is that bitcoiners went hard for trump but apparently are naive and didn’t realize he is a grifter. Trump surrounded himself with shitcoiners and surveillance capitalists like musk and Theil. Still bitcoiners told us to trust the plan. His god damn VP is the unholy spawn of peter Theil and an Ivy league synthetic womb. Did anyone actually believe they would support privacy and self custody? They are pushing bitcoin to pump their bags and then they will drop the hammer harder than anything you would have seen out of the democrats. They want total control and are retarded enough to think we will let them have it.

No, because he never said he would be a Bitcoin privacy champion. Pretty sure every Bitcoiner that actually helped get the Bitcoin message through to Trump and the people around him, like David Bailey, knows who Trump is and who he isn’t.

Trump got money from Bitcoiners, but he also got money from the broader crypto industry, so he was going to come through for everyone, not just Bitcoiners.

He delivered the following to Bitcoiners:

- Ross being freed

- Strategic Bitcoin Reserve creation

- End to choke point 2.0

- Fired Gary Gensler

- EO that opens the door for Bitcoin in 401ks

- Appointed pro Bitcoin people to his administration

- Speaks positively about Bitcoin

- His company DJT is buying Bitcoin

You can say it’s not enough, but you can’t say we would be in a bette position had Kamala won.

Trump is controlled by Israel and covering up the Epstein files. There is plenty to criticize him on. His actions on Bitcoin don’t make the top 10.

I yhibk everything on your list is a political calculation and most help shitcoins as much if not more than Bitcoin which make them a net negative.

Freeing Ross was amazing however we still face the real legal threat against developers who are guilty of simply writing software that can be used for illegal shit. Ross was simple famous enough for trump.

I don’t see a bitcoin reserve…there’s a good chance it will contain shitcoins as well.

Choke point 2.0 probably did more to crush shitcoins than it did against Bitcoin.

Gary Gensler was worse for shitcoins than he was for Bitcoin.

401ks are opened to shitcoins.

Being a trump appointee is pretty meaningless in the face of his fuckery.

His company will be the first one to sell bitcoin.

Idk what to tell you. No one that matters was under the impression that we were going to get a utopian Bitcoin only revolution. That’s not how the world works.

I assume they thought at the very least they would get some developer protections. As far as I can tell we are getting surveillance and shitcoins. It’s worse than nothing.
