Skiing and snowboarding are fun. Those of you who’ve been doing it long enough know shit can go wrong in a heartbeat no matter what expert level you think you are.
Today a woman faceplanted hard and was knocked unconscious. Fortunately someone saw it and acted quickly, directed ski patrol and called in a helicopter medevac.
I’ve just heard the woman is in hospital and still unconscious.

I think it’s much like driving. Accidents happen and there are many ways to prevent serious injuries. Proper gear, knowing your limits and paying attention to surroundings is a good start. I think the little man will do fine🙂 he’s a smart kid.

Not exactly sure how and what happened but I was told that she did not have headgear on or near hear when ski patrol got to her. The ski patroller is a friend.
i knocked myself out once. trying to look cool in front of girls. it didn’t work.

Thank you for sharing this video. It was a needed laugh this morning. And, can I say, having lost my seminal vesicles vas deferens and in fact the entirety of my left nut to cancer, the redundancy supplied to us by God and nature is a miracle and notwithstanding the orchiectomy required by the cancerous incursion, ol' righty still managed to produce my child.
