Men are tougher and smarter than females.

in my ER today (pretty typical day) I had 4 men:

MI & CKD (admit)

Catatonic schizo (boarder)

Chainsaw to hand (stitches, home)

warts, "am i treating this right?"🤦🏻‍♂️(home)

I had 9 women:

1st day of flu syx (home)

"I'm hurting" fibromyalgia (home)

"I'm huring" CT proven enteritis (home)

diarrhea x 2 days (home)

"not myself" ... cold? (home)

ear pain s/p uri (home)

anxiety attack (home)

abd pain (choly, admit)

tongue pain, candida (home)

None of these women had done anything to treat themselves. ANYTHING. The men all had tried something, except my psych boarder.

My region's M:F is >>>4:9. So not only are men tougher, they're smarter and healthier.
