Men are tougher and smarter than females.
in my ER today (pretty typical day) I had 4 men:
MI & CKD (admit)
Catatonic schizo (boarder)
Chainsaw to hand (stitches, home)
warts, "am i treating this right?"🤦🏻♂️(home)
I had 9 women:
1st day of flu syx (home)
"I'm hurting" fibromyalgia (home)
"I'm huring" CT proven enteritis (home)
diarrhea x 2 days (home)
"not myself" ... cold? (home)
ear pain s/p uri (home)
anxiety attack (home)
abd pain (choly, admit)
tongue pain, candida (home)
None of these women had done anything to treat themselves. ANYTHING. The men all had tried something, except my psych boarder.
My region's M:F is >>>4:9. So not only are men tougher, they're smarter and healthier.
See, I can make assinine anecdotal conclusions too.

Super piqued but not a dev.
This is like saying acute hypoxic respiratory failure should be called acidemia.
Hyperinsulinemia means high levels of insulin in the blood. That is all. Don't mistake the level of a hormone in the blood for a constellation of conditions that occur together.
For those not in the know, metabolic syndrome is a clustering of at least three of the following five medical conditions: abdominal obesity, high blood pressure, high blood sugar, high serum triglycerides, and low serum high-density lipoprotein (HDL). There are people with hyperinsulinemia who do not have metabolic ayndrome.
And in mainstream allopathic medicine, we attribute this to insulin resistance. We're not hiding anything with the name.
As a side note, insulin is difficult and expensive to measure accurately, so that is rarely done.
Your anthopologic insight re: insufferable douchebags meant a high pre-test probability that you had.
Pros and cons. Academia is a wierd place imo.
Wow. It's almost as if you have worked in academic medicine.
about how one would expect cat ladies and virus-obsessed effeminates to:
Are clinics / hospitals etc. required to share data based on funding? Or is data sharing entirely optional / required?
Seems like a honeypot.
Howdy! When will will we get the read? 🤣🤣
