i think another part of why the swamp hates trump is bc they’re all insufferable asshole douchebags who work really, really hard to not appear to be insufferable asshole douchebags and then some other insufferable asshole douchebag (Trump) comes along and just embraces his own nature of being an insufferable asshole douchebag and people respond positively to it
