Men can’t grasp. I’ve sent him the bitcoin standard , explained mining and on and on
I think it’s a combination of “crystallized intelligence”; changes in the brain that lock it into old paradigms, in favor of past experience. And lower testosterone in old age, which also prevents taking (perceived) risks.
He messaged me one day and asked me do coins or paper come out of these mining machines. What is the point of mining what comes out?

I know it makes me feel crazy inside because he is a very intelligent human being. He just can’t grasp it and I don’t know how to get the point across
You'll get thru to him eventually, don't give up...
And just think, whenever he does get it, he'll still be early!
I even told him like three years ago go ahead buy yourself 500 bucks worth of bitcoin if you are unhappy in a year I will buy it from you and give you your 500 bucks back. I thought if he had skin in the game maybe it would help.
