I think it makes sense to randomly insert marketplace events into users' feeds for as long as they remain active. I feel like that's something that should be done at the client level, as opposed to sellers continuously re-broadcasting. That method is also more courteous to the relays.

Since the marketplace is an Amethyst-specific feature, it makes sense that promoting entries would be a client-level function. Almost like another layer of the Amethyst feeds. Such a system would reduce the necessary coding, and I believe make implementation easier. And the end result would be more eyes on active marketplace listings, and increased value for Amethyst. I think it's a good upgrade all around. And since it wouldn't require sellers to repeatedly re-broadcast their listing, it would also reduce bandwidth consumption, and strain on relay servers.
