"The way to subjugate a population is to control their communications. This is why free speech is the biggest enemy of any oppressive government. It's why independent newspapers and radio stations are always the first targets. And it's why, even in the commercial world, controlling how people communicate and what they communicate about is the key to domination that defines success."

Social media promises freedom of expression, but our conversations are monitored, data harvested, and opinions shaped by algorithms.

The antidote? Take control of your communication. Seek independent voices, support alternative media, and be mindful of manipulation. True freedom of speech is about being heard and listening to those who challenge the status quo.

I fucking love 2600

I've been buying them since the '90s. Now, I own a lifetime print subscription. Around 80% of the way to a complete collection, slowly buying the rest from private collectors.

The oldest print issue of 2600 I own.

Volume 4, Number 2 - February, 1987

The rest of the collection...

Each stack represents one year of issues. Most are complete.

INCREDIBLE

Awesome, I used to pick up 2600 quite often. I didn't always understand it the deeper technical.side, but I always loved the exploration and curiousity. Oh and the phone booth photos 😅

The phonebooth photos are such a iconic staple. I can never walk by one and not think of 2600.

👍

I have volume 15 number 1 if you need it

I have this one, but thank you. That is very kind. Happy to take it off your hands as a duplicate if it would just end up in the bin, but otherwise no need. 🙏🏻

If you don't need it, I'll hang on to it. I was only interested in helping you complete the collection, but it is nostalgia from my youth.

I have quite the collection too... I'll have to photograph them sometime (:

Very nice. Would love to see them if you get around to it.

That's a follow
