OK, I want to use Nostr more. Help me out here, how do I setup zaps? I'm currently using desktop (primal) or Android (Amethyst), but I'm open for other suggestions.

Not sure if primal web has their build in wallet but you can use GetAlby browser extension for it. On amethyst you can also use GetAlby NWC (nostr wallet connect). GetAlby should have a guide for it
The amazing thing is, I zapped you in nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg while you didn’t have a wallet setup yet. Does anyone know how this is possible?

For my browser I use the Alby extension for signing events and zaps (WebLN)
On my iOS device I use Nostur and Zeus

Also useful for signing in to Other Stuff websites with your nsec as it is a signer too.
For mobile id recommend downloading Amber and using it to login to clients. Keep your nsec in as few places as possible.
For zaps alby, zeus, or any lightning wallet you have.
