For that, Nostr clients must become lightning wallets to approve payments directly.

Hopefully somebody makes an Android wrapper for it.

My first idea wasn't a zapped like or a zap itself, it was sats streaming based on the time you stay in every post.

That's for the future.

That would be cool, and encourage longer more completing posts.

I like it, like a subscription.. would the user be able to limit the rate?

But this means, if I create longer posts most probably people will stay there longer. So not necessarily more time means more engagement.

Maybe it shall be based on reposts, likes, and comments. So each action would involve sats, and more interesting threads could collect sats based on any interection.

Or maybe based on how many times you open that thread. If it is cool, you go back to check other peoples comments.

Anyway interesting idea! 🤙

Yeah, but people aren't going to read your long post if it is not also compelling.

Probably you are right. I was just thinking that maybe If you value time, you will incentivize length, and not content. And maybe this could lead to wrap your interesting thought into a longer text.

Maybe, but it still has to have persistent value throughout the post. Otherwise bored people, and/or people that see what you're doing, will just move on.

Yeah but then you get "first, here's my life story.... scroll down for the recipe" crap

You cannot keep my interest that way, and I would likely block someone who wasted my time like that.

I would do that with a trustworthy client and a small amount of tipping funds.

Steemit did it with steem.

There was another small network that used BSV, I forget the name.

It's a powerful format.

Not necessarily, wallets like Alby already have pre-authorized settings to log in, sign events, send payments etc.
