because all these people were getting paid by the stolen money. Many of the MSM, NGOs and fake protesters were benefiting from this money.
Billions were getting free money to just sit around and wait around when they were needed.
This money is getting cut off so they are upset. They won't be able to cause criminal activity anymore. They will have to get an actual job.

"They" don't. The companies and people that have benefitted from the grift are freaking out. It's pretty clear looking at video from the protests that a) the protestors are organized and likely paid, b) there are a few who believe the MSM that DOGE is cutting SS. This will all be over in 4-6 weeks, except for those idiots who firebombed Teslas and will be spending the next 5-20 years in federal prison.
