Not sure I agree. Like would amount to an agree surely? A zap would be an indication of knowledge passing between users?? A zap could be seen as an appreciation of any kind? No?
Likes can be spammed. One could argue that a “like” is not true engagement; it’s passive. Likes are dopamine hits without substance.
Attaching a monetary value to engagement (even if only 1 sat) shows agreement, appreciation, knowledge transfer—whatever you want—in a more active way. It’s an expression of value.

Idea for nostr client devs: a setting for the like button to also do a 1-sat zap. If that could somehow be automated with the wallet so it wouldn't require an app switch and an extra tap, would be awesome.
Maybe there should be an option to give a valued like, that cost only 1 sat. The emoji would be heart & a lightening {🗲❤️🗲}
