Wow. I was under the impression that large transactions on Lightning were actually dangerous for the sender as there was a high likelyhood of failure.
There is not danger even if a payment fails, you don't lose anything.
Definitely high probability of failure if you don't personally have a channel that big on your node.
Being able to boost someone’s life or project like that some times a year would be cool … I’d be stingy about to what & whom, but I’d do it …
