some more on the potassium problem:

so, i already know i get problems with high motility (fast transit through the intestines, and this causes problems with potassium levels) due in part to celiac, i also know that i most likely have early, and until this last year, uncontrolled diabetes, made worse by stuff like maltodextrin (it has always caused me to pee brown), i suspect kidney damage due to sucralose and acesulfame-k as well
these are more than enough as a cluster to explain how i acquired the problem, and also it hints at issues with magnesium, which also with potassium makes up a big part of the etiology of chronic muscle cramps
it is probable, in fact, that i have all of these problems running concurrently and so the result is more extreme than any single one of them would be. each one alone would not be a problem but they all happen at once, compounding the amount of potassium my kidneys are eliminating
note that there are other interesting things related to kidney function and electrolyte elimination, if there is insufficient boron in the diet, the kidneys also eliminate calcium and magnesium to compensate, and low magnesium causes more elimination of potassium as well!
my aunty, and several others i have now had confirm this recently (one of my follows from hungary) that sodium borate is incredibly helpful for a lot of electrolyte and blood conditions, notable he mentioned that it can reduce fungal organism levels in the blood (mycoplasma)
so, anyway, i think i probably need to scratch in a visit to the pharmacy for some epsom salt to add to my electrolyte stack - have to be careful with that to not have too much at once as it causes intestines to smooth and increase motility also, but probably the increased retention of calcium due to adding borax to the stack will probably help mitigate a lot of that
