Because most people don't want a bitcoin firehose to their face (the current Nostr social experience). The majority of the remains are Bitcoin maxis that aren't accepted elsewhere, and seem to post negative content regularly. Luckily, that is followed by other interest groups. Those are the notes I zap, in hopes of encouraging more "content from life".
It's a growing minority of Nostr, which is promising:)
I don't see any of that, I must have a weird feed or something. Bit of Bitcoin or whatever, but I see Yoga, farming, inspirational quotes, funny videos, cool weirdo stuff that glhf puts out , new1 is always pumping out funny memes and has his own podcast?

It’s weird… I started getting the vibe that people preferred a pseudo-aggressive tone after the Tiktokers arrived. It really felt like people were perceiving positivity as being fake and sass as real but I (thought) I left all that energy on Twitter.
Then the whole “women being bullied” narrative happened and things got really weird and didn’t make sense… but light combats darkness so we just have to stay focused on being light, keeping peace, and being kind.
